Open studio practice time:
Monday-Thursday, Saturday 10:30am-8:00pm

This course is open to true beginners as well as students with some handbuilding experience who want a supportive place to learn or revisit the basics. In our warm, welcoming studio and with a small class of no more than five students, instructors work closely with each participant to introduce and strengthen foundational techniques like pinch, coil, and slab building. The focus is on building confidence, developing skills at your own pace, and creating more intentional forms. This course also provides foundational knowledge for those interested in becoming a Wedge member and continuing their practice in the studio.

  • Includes a box of clay 50 lbs

  • Use of all equipment and tools

  • Use of glazes

  • Limited shared storage for work-in-progress

  • Firing fees are 5 cents/cubic inch on the bisque only
