This beginner-friendly course introduces the fundamentals of working with clay on the potter’s wheel in a warm, welcoming studio environment. With a small, intimate class of just four students, you’ll receive hands-on guidance as you learn the core techniques of functional ceramics—starting with a simple lump of clay and leaving with a finished pot. This class also serves as foundational training for those interested in becoming a member at Wedge. No prior ceramics experience is required.
Includes a box of clay 50 lbs
Use of all equipment and tools
Use of glazes
Limited shared storage for work-in-progress

Firing fees are 5 cents/cubic inch on the bisque only
